Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Downtown Tampa/East Tampa Community Working Groups meeting on Monday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Barrymore Hotel Riverwalk, 111 West Fortune Street, Tampa, FL 33602, located near the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.
At this second round of Community Working Groups, FDOT will present information about various projects and alternatives being considered. The Metropolitan Planning Organization has been invited to present information about their upcoming Long Range Transportation Plan and the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) will present the latest Regional Transit Feasibility Plan information. The format will encourage dialogue to address questions and ideas.  The group discussions include topics such as multi-modal transportation and evaluating infrastructure improvements in the context of a comprehensive regional transportation system.
The Community Working Group is open to the public and represents a cross section within the community including individual citizens, neighborhood/HOA association representatives, civic and faith-based leaders, small business owners and business leaders, among others.  Comments may also be received through a written format to Madeline.Pfingsten@dot.state.fl.us

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Westshore/West Tampa/South Tampa Community Working Groups meeting on Thursday, October 5th  at 5:30 p.m. at the Centre Club, 123 S. Westshore Boulevard, 8th Floor, Tampa, FL 33609. Located on the SW corner of Kennedy and Westshore Boulevard in the Urban Centre. Park on level 3 or above and take the east elevator (Urban Centre One), closest to Westhore Boulevard, to the Centre Club (8th floor).

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a Historic Resources Information Meeting for the above referenced project.  FDOT is holding this public meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Hilton Tampa Downtown located at 211 North Tampa Street, Tampa, Florida 33602.
 
The meeting is part of the early coordination for the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) that will be prepared for the Tampa Interstate Study (TIS). The SEIS will focus on the downtown and Westshore interchanges, and the section of I-275 between those areas. The SEIS is a fresh look at the long-standing plan to improve and modernize Tampa’s interstate system, originally called the TIS.
 
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information to residents, local public officials, and interested persons and organizations relative to the process and schedule for identifying and evaluating historic resources, determining significant historic properties, and eventually evaluating potential impacts to significant historic properties. 
During the meeting representatives of the FDOT will be available to discuss the process, answer questions, and receive comments specific to concerns about historic resources. Historic resource mitigation implemented to date for TIS, as well as methodology moving forward, will be on display.
 
Please understand this is an informal meeting, not a public hearing, and the first of several to be included throughout the process. Written or emailed comments not received at the meeting must be postmarked or emailed by September 18, 2017 to be included in the official meeting record.
