Time: 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Location Name: Indian River State College - Mueller Campus
Street Address: 6155 College Lane, Richardson Center
City: Vero Beach FL 32966
Purpose:
Florida's transportation system supports the nation's 4th largest economy and 3rd largest population, provides 540,000 jobs and directly affects our daily lives.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) recently updated the Freight Mobility and Trade Plan and is currently updating the Florida Transportation Plan (FTP) and Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Policy Plan.

The FTP defines Florida's future transportation vision and identifies goals, objectives and strategies to accomplish that vision. The FTP is the statewide long-range transportation plan for all of Florida.

The SIS identifies policies for planning and implementing Florida's Strategic Intermodal System, the statewide high-priority network of transportation facilities critical to Florida's economic competitiveness.

This is one of a series of regional workshops being held throughout the state during the months of August and September. The regional workshop will provide an opportunity for Floridians to offer their thoughts about the state's transportation at all levels - statewide, regional and local.

In previous workshops we have asked "where do we want to go?"
It's now time to talk about how we get there.

There is no registration fee for the regional workshops, but we do ask participants to register at www.FloridaTransportationPlan.com as space is limited.
