The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a Public Information Meeting regarding sidewalk construction on U.S. 301 in Waldo, Florida. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2014 at the Yerkes Center, 14245 Cole Street, Waldo, FL. the meeting will be an "Open House" format from 5:30-7 p.m. to give you an opportunity to review exhibits and talk with Department staff.
The U.S. 301 project limits will tie into the existing sidewalk at current end of curb and gutter section and proceed north to the intersection at Northeast 177th Place. The improvements include drainage repair and sidewalk construction on both sides of the roadway. This project will also include handicap accessible ramps, painting crosswalks and stop bars, adding gravity wall and headwall, and replacing the existing pedestrian signals with countdown pedestrian signals at the intersection of U.S. 301 and 177th Place.
