The Florida Department of Tranpsortation (FDOT) is holding this public information meeting to provide the public an opportunity to learn about the upcoming construction on 6th Street from US 17/92 (East Hinson Avenue) to Wood Avenue in Haines City, and to speak with project staff.
There will be no formal presentation and you may arrive any time between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Improvements being made as part of this project consist of installing new drainage pipe and structures, resurfacing the roadway, building sidewalk and driveways, installing handrail, replacing curb and gutter, constructing on-street parking bays, painting crosswalks at intersections, installing a brick paver crosswalk south of East Hinson Avenue, and adding landscaping and decorative signs and lighting.
