Purpose:
FDOT will hold an alternatives public meeting to provide information about the proposed widening of SR 60 from County Road 630 to east of the Kissimmee River Bridge from two to four lanes. The meeting will be an open house format with a continuous video presentation. People attending the meeting may review project displays and aerial photographs, and speak one-on-one with project team members. Proposed widening alternatives will require right-of-way acquisition for road improvements and stormwater management ponds. Existing access to properties along SR 60 will change due to the addition of a median, a result of widening the road.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requests sealed bids from interested parties for the following:
 
The property is located NW of SR 70 (53rd Ave .E) and US 301, Oneco/Bradenton, FL, and is a rectangular vacant lot of 1.132 acres.  Property is bordered by 24th & 26th St. E.  Current zoning is RSF 4.5 - future land use is ROR.  Current permittable access is via the side streets of 24th & 26th St. E.
 
The sale is being conducted by sealed bids with a minimum bid of the appraised fair market value of $650,000.00. The bid will be awarded to the highest bidder.  The FDOT reserves the right to withdraw the property if the minimum bid is not received.  The oil, gas, and mineral rights, if any to the property shall be retained by FDOT unless petitioned in writing by the buyer for a waiver to release same.
 
Sealed bids must be delivered by 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2017 to the FDOT, Right of Way Property Management, 801 N.
