Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public kick-off meeting concerning the Interchange Justification Report (IJR) and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for State Road 8 (I-10) at County Road (C.R.) 4 (Antioch Road) Interchange. (Financial Project Identification Numbers: 407918-3-22-01 and 407918-4-22-01) The project will conduct an IJR and PD&E study for a new interchange on I-10 at C.R. 4 (Antioch Road) in Okaloosa County. The intent of this project is to improve regional mobility and increase accessibility in conjunction with the planned P.J. Adams Parkway extension that will establish a westerly bypass around Crestview. There will be no formal presentation; however, representatives from FDOT will be available to explain proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. The intent of this project is to modify the existing median opening at SR 30A (US 98/Panama City Beach Parkway) and Fairway Boulevard (Financial Project Identification Number: 220876-9-52-80), to only allow for eastbound and westbound left turning movements to increase safety at the intersection. The improvements associated with this project are in partnership with the City of Panama City Beach. The project is funded for construction and bids will be received spring 2018. A formal presentation will be made at 6:30 p.m. CDT, followed by a public comment period. Project maps will be on display and FDOT representatives available to explain proposed improvements, answer questions and receive comments. Navy Boulevard PD&E Study Corridor Alternatives Public Meeting

Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold Corridor Alternatives public meeting for the S.R. 30 (U.S. 98/Navy Boulevard) Project Development & Environment Study from S.R. 295 (New Warrington Road) to Bayou Chico Bridge (Financial Project Identification Number: 218630-2-22-01). This meeting is being held as part of a current Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study being conducted to evaluate proposed transportation solutions for this segment of US 98 and to provide documented information necessary for FDOT to reach a decision on the type, design, and location of the improvements. The meeting is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. There will be no formal presentation; however, representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss the study, answer questions, and receive comments. Public input received will be incorporated into the final corridor report and will be used to help identify a recommended alternative(s) for further development. The project will evaluate the development of a complete-street concept that is safe, operationally efficient, accommodates bicycles, pedestrians, and transit, meets FDOT and permitting agencies standards, handles stormwater, achieves the Warrington Community Redevelopment (CRA) goals while also providing access to adjacent parcels and side streets.
