Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public hearing concerning the State Road (S.R.) 79 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from S.R. 8 (I-10) to the Florida / Alabama State line in Holmes County from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Northside Assembly of God Church, 1009 Rangeline Street, Bonifay, Fl. The hearing is being held to provide interested persons an opportunity to review the analysis and findings of the PD&E Study and provide input on the Recommended Alternative. The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. in an open-house format, with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period. Maps, drawings, and other project information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Project information will be available for review September 6, 2018, at the FDOT District 3 Office (1074 Highway 90; Chipley, FL 32428) and at the Holmes County Public Library (303 J Etheridge; Bonifay, FL 32425). Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public hearing for the U.S. 98 (State Road 30) Brooks Bridge Replacement, Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m. with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. This hearing is being held to provide interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed project improvements. The project involves replacement of the John T. Brooks Bridge which carries State Road (S.R.) 30 (U.S. 98) over the Santa Rosa Sound and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Okaloosa County. To accommodate the bridge replacement, intersection improvements are necessary at S.R. 145 (Perry Avenue) on the west end of the bridge in the City of Fort Walton Beach, and in the vicinity of Santa Rosa Boulevard on Okaloosa Island. Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public hearing concerning the Quincy Loop South Project Development and Environment Study (PD&E) from State Road (S.R.) 267 (Pat Thomas Parkway) to U.S. 90, Thursday, Oct. 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. EDT, beginning with an informal open house from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a formal presentation and public comments at 6 p.m. at the University of Florida IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center, 155 Research Road, Quincy. 
The intent of this project is to evaluate the need to extend Quincy Loop South from Pat Thomas Parkway to U.S. 90.  This public hearing is being conducted to present the recommended alternative and give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements.  Public input received will be incorporated into the final documents and will be used to further refine the recommended alternative as necessary.  Design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction are not funded in the current FDOT Five-Year Work Program.
During the informal portion of the hearing, FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments.  A court reporter will also be available to receive comments.  During the formal portion of the hearing, FDOT will make a formal presentation which will be followed by public comments.
