Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)will hold a U.S. 331 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study kick-off meeting.  The study will evaluate the need for proposed improvements along U.S. 331 from south of I-10 to the Alabama state line, a distance of approximately 25 miles.  (Financial Project Identification Number: 433743-1-22-01. Two similar meetings are planned.  You may attend either or both meetings.  The first meeting will be held Tuesday, July 22 at the DeFuniak Springs Community Center Main Auditorium, 361 North 10th Street, DeFuniak Springs.  The second meeting will be held Thursday, July 24 at the Paxton Agricultural Center, 22036 U.S. 331 North, Paxton.  Both meetings will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT.
 
Proposed improvements to be evaluated may include capacity, safety, traffic operations, and/or access management solutions.  Major intersections will be analyzed to assess capacity needs and improve traffic flow.  Additional improvements include bicycle lanes and sidewalks where applicable.
 
Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display.  The meeting will be an open house format.  There will be no formal presentation.  Representatives from FDOT will be available to explain proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.

Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public information meeting concerning proposed improvements to State Road (S.R.) 30 (U.S. 98) over S.R. 368 (23rd Street), Collegiate Drive and the Bay Line Railroad. 
 
The proposed project will enhance safety, reduce travel delays and improve access to and from the Port of Panama City, Gulf Coast State College and Florida State University Panama City campus. FDOT plans to add an elevated roadway at the intersection of U.S. 98 and 23rd Street along with drainage improvements, a storm water treatment facility, signalization upgrades, new signage and pavement markings. Pedestrian and bicycle features are part of this intersection reconstruction project.  Construction is currently scheduled to begin summer 2015.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a Final Recommendations Meeting regarding the update of the Interstate 10 (I-10) Master Plan for the portion of the corridor beginning at the Santa Rosa/Okaloosa County line east to the Jackson/ Gadsden County line. The purpose of the meeting is to present the recommendations developed to address current and future needs of the I-10 corridor in the study area. There will be a brief presentation at 5:45 p.m. CDT. FDOT and project staff will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments.
 
A meeting for the Okaloosa and Walton County area will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT at the Crestview Community Center, 1446 Commerce Drive, Crestview.  A separate meeting for the Holmes, Washington, and Jackson County area will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT at the First Baptist Church, 1300 South Boulevard, Chipley.
 
The purpose of the Interstate Master Plan is to develop an integrated transportation system that is economically efficient, environmentally sound, and moves people and goods in an energy-efficient manner. The plan will identify and recommend mobility enhancement alternatives that serve high speed, high volume travel, including long trips and regional commerce as well as outline a process of protecting the right-of-way necessary to accommodate future needs. Your involvement in the master planning effort will help to shape I-10 in this part of the state for decades to come. We welcome your input. Enclosed for your review is a copy of the meeting handout.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public information meeting concerning proposed improvements to S.R. 79 Phase D, Reedy Branch Bridge to Court Street.  The meeting will be Tuesday, August 5, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. CDT at the Vernon Community Center, 2808 Yellow Jacket Drive, Vernon.  Financial Project Identification Numbers: 220773-9-52-01 and 220773-9-56-01
 
This meeting offers participants an opportunity to preview proposed improvements and provide comments regarding the upcoming construction.  The intent of this project is to widen the existing rural roadway from two to four lanes.  The total length of Phase D is 6.4 miles.  Construction is scheduled to begin fall 2014.
