Please join the Florida Department of Transportation, District 7, in cooperation with Forward Pinellas, in developing a Future Vision for Alternate US 19 at the Visioning Charrettes that are being held in the jurisdictions along the corridor study area.  We need your assistance in identifying land uses, future developments, existing and anticipated traffic and safety issues, and socio-economic conditions to develop a vision for the corridor.
 
Six (6) Visioning Charrettes will be held along the approximately 29 mile corridor to help develop a vision that will guide the study team in proposing short and long term recommendations for improvement. This may include issues relating to capacity, traffic operations, safety, access and egress, freight movements, transit, bicycles, and pedestrian movements. Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation, District Seven, will be holding an SR 693 (Pasadena Avenue) Corridor Study Kick-Off Meeting for elected officials and agency representatives within the study limits. The study limits encompass approximately 1.66 miles of SR 693 (Pasadena Avenue) from Shore Drive South to 66th Street in Pinellas County. The southern section of the project (Shore Drive South to Park Street) is within South Pasadena’s city limits and the northern section of the project (Park Street to 66th Street) is within St. Petersburg’s city limits.

The purpose of this study is to work with the community, stakeholders and a Project Advisory Group (PAG) to develop a vision and identify a series of goals and objectives to enhance and improve the corridor. At the kick-off meeting, we hope to identify PAG participants to help develop a vision for the corridor and identify proposed short- and long-term recommendations. This may include improving capacity issues, traffic operations, safety, access and egress, traffic signal timing, intersection lighting, freight movements, transit operations, as well as bicycle and pedestrian movements.

Please join the Florida Department of Transportation, District 7, in cooperation with Forward Pinellas, in developing a Future Vision for Alternate US 19 at the Visioning Charrettes that are being held in the jurisdictions along the corridor study area.  We need your assistance in identifying land uses, future developments, existing and anticipated traffic and safety issues, and socio-economic conditions to develop a vision for the corridor.
 
Six (6) Visioning Charrettes will be held along the approximately 29 mile corridor to help develop a vision that will guide the study team in proposing short and long term recommendations for improvement. This may include issues relating to capacity, traffic operations, safety, access and egress, freight movements, transit, bicycles, and pedestrian movements. If you are unable to attend a charrette in your area, please feel free to attend at another location listed below.
