Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend and participate in a public hearing regarding a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study Re-evaluation for the proposed alternative capacity and operational improvements along US 92 (SR 600) for approximately 18 miles from east of I-4 to east of County Line Road in Hillsborough County. The proposed project is intended to accommodate projected future traffic. Multi-modal improvements such as sidewalks, bicycle facilities, and transit accommodations will be considered as part of the project.
 
These public hearings are being held to allow interested persons the opportunity to provide comments concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. This public hearing will be held in two separate sessions at the following locations. The same information will be shown at both sessions.

Department representatives will be available during an informal open house portion of the public hearing to answer questions and discuss the project. Following the informal portion of the public hearing, FDOT representatives will begin the formal presentation, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to make oral public comments. After the formal portion of the hearing, the informal open house will resume. See specific times listed above for the two session options. Please note the time differences. Draft project documents and other project related materials will be displayed, and a PowerPoint presentation will run continuously during the open house at both sessions. A court reporter will be available to receive comments in a one-on-one setting. Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by mailing them to Kirk Bogen, Environmental Management Engineer, FDOT, District Seven, 11201 N. US 19 / Halls River Bridge Construction Open House

Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation  invites you to attend a construction open house regarding the widening of US 19 from Green Acres Street to W. Jump Court (Financial Project Number 405822-2-52-01) and the replacement of the Halls River Road (CR 490A) bridge over Halls River (Financial Project Number 430021-1-2-01).

The improvements for the US 19 project include widening from four lanes to a six-lane divided roadway with paved shoulders, designated bike lanes on the paved shoulders and sidewalks on both sides of US 19.
 
Improvements for the Halls River Bridge include replacing the current two lane bridge with a wider two lane bridge with shoulders. The bridge will remain open to vehicle traffic during construction.

There will be no formal presentation at the open house; therefore, we encourage you to drop in at your convenience during the above listed hours to review the project display boards and talk with project staff. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like information about either of these projects, please email the department at roadwork@dot.state.fl.us.

Tentative Five-year Work Program for Fiscal Years 2018 - 2022
We want to hear from you!
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) - District Seven, invites you to participate in and comment on the Tentative Five-year Work Program for projects scheduled July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022.  The District Seven, Tentative Five-year Work Program includes upcoming planning activities, preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction, and public transportation projects planned by FDOT and Florida Turnpike Enterprise for Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties.  Select local government projects are also included.
 
There are four ways you can participate:

  2. If you do not have access to the internet, you can use a computer at your local public library during the library’s regular operating hours.
