Purpose:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to County Road (CR) 220 from Shamrock Drive to Knight Boxx Road in Clay County, Florida. The public meeting will be held on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Highpoint Community Church located at 84 Knight Boxx Road, Orange Park, Florida 32065. The meeting will be in an “open house” format from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm to allow you an opportunity to review the exhibits and talk one-on-one with FDOT staff.

The FDOT is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate alternatives to enhance safety and provide additional capacity to meet existing and future traffic needs on CR 220. FDOT encourages you to get involved throughout the study by providing comments, concerns, questions and/or suggestions to the Study Team.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 339.135(4)(c), Florida Statutes, to consider the Department’s (District Two and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise) Tentative Five-Year Work Program for Fiscal Years 2018/2019 through 2022/2023, and to consider the necessity of making any changes to the Work Program. All persons are invited to attend and be heard.
 
The Jacksonville Hearing will begin with an Open House at 4:30 p.m.  There will be a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m., followed by a public comment period.  Department staff will be on hand to answer questions or concerns for all projects in District Two with a focus on the following counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns.
