  • Removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway from north of Linton Boulevard to the end of the project limits
  • Adding Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps
  • Upgrading the roadway lighting at the intersection of US 1/SR5 and Linton Boulevard
  • Installing new highway signs
  • Regrading the swales
  • Upgrading pedestrian signals
  •  Construction of the improvements is expected to begin in Summer 2020 with anticipated completion in Summer 2021.     Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education Training Workshop a public meeting/DispForm.aspx?ID=5560  This year the Broward County Parks and Recreation Division will share bicycles, helmets, and bicycle rodeo equipment with agencies and organizations throughout Broward County. This equipment was provided through FDOT's Safe Routes to School Program. In order to use this equipment you must take this training.  This workshop will provide attendees with your first look at the equipment available for your event.  Participation in this training will enable you to be better utilize the equipment and will help shorten the  time spent setting up the rodeo.What will participants learn?
