  • Demolishing and removing the existing bridge
  • Constructing a new bridge with two 12-foot-wide lanes, 5-foot-wide shoulder/bike lanes and 6-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides of the roadway
  • Replacing guardrails
  • Reconstructing the roadway at the bridge approaches
  • NOTE: The bridge will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic during construction with a detour provided. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2019 with anticipated completion in Fall 2020. The estimated construction cost is $1.04 million.  This project is a partnership between FDOT and the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA).   •  Construction of these improvements is scheduled to begin in Spring 2020 with anticipated completion in Spring 2021.
